You can enroll or cancel your election anytime you want.

  • When Should I Elect a Beneficiary?

One of the first things you should do when electing to participate in the 401(k) plan is to designate a beneficiary online via your personal retirement account. Maintaining this important information online is easy and reliable. If you experience a life event (e.g. change in marital status or birth), you may need to update the beneficiary designation. It's recommended that you review your designations at least once a year.
